Encoder MIDI Type bug

Hi everybody !

I have a little problem when i wan’t to map my MIDI fighter twister to Ableton.

There is no “Note + CC” option in the Encoder MIDI Type in the utility. I only have Note, CC, and a ENC3FH/41H thing (which don’t work too).

So i can’t use Switch button in ableton.

Sounds like you’re mapping rotaries instead of pushbuttons.

The “Note + CC” mode you might be referencing is for the other Midi Fighter models where you’d want an extra momentary command to map without overwriting the Note one. This is also referenced as “Ableton Mode” in the MF3D guides and articles.

You can use the CC Hold or CC Toggle modes for Twister as the Switch Action and map those to Ableton (all encoder presses are set to CC Hold by default on Ch.02)
