Encoder type for browser list & tree TRAKTOR

Hey !

I’d like to know if it’s possible to user my controller encoders (livid cntrl:r but I guess it’s all the same), to navigate in my browser list & tree without changing the encoder type in the firmware not to hinder the controller’s flexibility.

Even 1 encoder for up tree, 1 encoder for down tree, 1 encoder for up list, 1 encoder for down list would be nice

Any idea ?

You could map both list and tree Up/Down in the fader absolute mode but you will be having problems while navigating trough larger lists resulting in skipping some tracks/folders.

Yeah I experienced that already haha pretty boring !

I’ll just review my mapping and see if I can regroup all that type of controls (pitch, browser etc) to free an encoder line
