… so i do this Indie/Electro nite at my local University.
No small beer , this is big 2000 capacity venue and i do the 500 cap room.
Usually.
This thursday we have our last nite of the student year spread over 3 room.
Bands and DJs playing in 2 rooms BUT the 2 DJs that do the Main Room (pop, r&b, dance etc) have spat their dummys out and got themselves either resigned or sacked no-one can figure out which yet . Suffice to say they is gone.
So after a reshuffle im now doing the main room on my own with SASH..!
Encore Un Fois indeed. I hate this kind of music but its all experience and will be fun anyway… So glow sticks at the ready.
Cheers fellas. Yeah it will be a blast. And that’s right about djing alongside someone so big. I may not like his music but the guy is big-time so you gotta respect that.
Musically it’s like what I do on Monday just a mixed bag so I’ve just gotta make sure I don’t get too drunk and fall off the stage !!!
You know i was meant to use the VCI for the first time live tonite but my second laptop stand didnt arrive (i was gonna use it for the VCI) so i couldnt get it in the booth cus the mixer is an installation mixer and i need to work over it.
So having not used it tonite im hesitant to use it for such a big gig.
Think ill stick with the Faderfox and use the CDJS (mk3) on Thursday and get the VCI out at my Friday gig where if i fuck up its less of a big deal.
Gotta say tho im itching to get the VCI going live . I just wish i could make up my mind on what buttons i want to use for what purpose. My tsi has changed about 10 times, ive gone thru a ton of DYMO stickers.

Hahaha i was reading that thinking “why his he calling me a wanker” then i read about the antibiotics … thats to bad mate. theres always someone that says “theres only 2 types of antibiotics that you cant drink on”… thats true but only because you wont have a terrible reaction. You gotta do the course or whatever it is ??? wont clear up, which means NO booze.

I saw the Scratch Perverts play Pendulums Prodigy Remix as their last song before Pendulum came on. It was piss-funny, thats there best tune. (some will disagree).
