Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, ETC.

What genre would you consider Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, or any other analog sound electronic music be catagorized under? I know beatport classifies Erol Alkan as electronic, and Boys Noize as Indie Dance and Nu-disco, but with tracks like Sydney Jook By Erol and Switch I have become quite confused what it exaclty is. Thoughts?
