It’s a DJ MIDI controller with all the interesting bits removed.
It has:

It does not have:
FX, cue juggle, file access, 4 decks, LED feedback.

OK - some of your points are valid. It could be a POS. But 14 bit midi and touch sensitive jogs for 180e isn’t bad.
