event section?
Would an event forum be a good idea? Place for DJs to post their upcoming shows or would it just end up being a spam fest? What do you guys think?
i doubt it´ll make a lot of sense. this would only be full of posts that noone reads. let´s out of the 200 most active members on here, 50% play regulary 2-3 gigs a month. 200-300 threads a month about gigs. any everyone is living in different areas, that mostly no one on here will be able to attempt. so yes, spam fest would be the right description 
Not really useful in a international community IMO. You will have better results spreading the word in Facebook.
