fade to gray effect
I would give my left nut to be able to use ableton’s fade to gray effect in traktor. Is there a way of emmulating that with tracktor’s existing effects? The effect is fantastic.

Map a superknob. You want a high-pass filter, a low-pass filter, and a delay set to 3/16, IIRC. As you turnt he knob, HP cutoff goes up, LP cutoff goes down, both resonances go up, delay goes wet.
That’s all there is to it, though it takes 3 FX units in Traktor to do it.

@padi - armyofme’s sweep is not the same as fade to grey as far as i remember.

Done how can I share it ? Do you want just a super knob? I think I have anyway as I can’t remember exactly how fade to grey sounds and what it does on a full twist … Can’t seem to find any vids showing it.

Please forgive my "noob"ness… but I’m coming from serato, and the whole midi-mapping thing is relatively new to me. I got about 70% of what you are saying. But is there anyway at all you could shoot me a tsi of what that would look like. I really do appreciate the help. It’s nice to be the new guy on a board, and still be helped. So, Thank You!!!

We cant merge TSI’s though can we so whats the point of me sharing a tsi? or am i missing something, a trick that would prob make things easier when it comes to mapping?
No, but you can load multiple tsi’s.
