fair price???

Ok, Ive been just been given a price for some equipment I want. I have provided a summary of the equipment below and the price as given by Spankrecords in Sydney.

I would like some idea if people think it a decent price. Bentosan, you proberly have the best perspective as your living in Australia.

Bear in mind that In my situation its difficult for me to get my equipment from different suppliers offering better prices. This is why I just want to get everything from the one place in one go.

All prices in Australian dollars

NI AUDIO 8 DJ - $799

FADERFOX DJ2 - $499

UNG CREATOR BAG (COMPACT) - $299

SENNHEISER HD 25 11 HEADPHONES - $359

2* STANTON SCS 3D DA SCRATCHES -$???

The overall price given for the above was $2580 (including delivery)

So, If im paying the prices given above, this would mean im paying about

$312 for each of the SCS 3D’s.

What do you think?:eek:

They are pretty typical prices from what i have seen, music equipment doesnt come cheap over here at all :disappointed:

I have been wondering if it might actually be cheaper trying to import.

yeh, i dont mind paying for good equipment, as long as im getting a fair price.

Ive looked at prices overseas and some things are cheaper, but I havnt got the time nor the patience to hunt around just to save maybe $200.

My next problem will be how to set 2 scs 3d and a faderfox DJ2 up with TP. I havnt yet played with midi controls and TKS. files.

I imagine it will be a steep learning curve and will keep me busy for some time.
