FedEx issues

well here it is cyber monday. i have a coupon code
and i have some $$$ left over
but i cant get into the store to place an order.

ok here is a new switch on things

Fedex wont deliver my package because they say the name on the package isnt the name its being delieverd to

its also not my username here
its not my email address here
its not my store.djtechtools.com email address

funny thing.. i purchased it with my credit card which has my name on it

i cant get into the store here because its not working so i cant give them a tracking number so the driver can be told to deliever it anyway

so now what do i do?
i need a call at this point because i wont be near a computer for the next 5 hours

im east coast, they are west coast
fedex already told me whats what on their end with the delivery

found the problem
its the computer on this specific desk
must be a network security thing

never the less:
the problem i was having with Fedex was completely just the one person i was talking to this morning.
“She” apparently doesnt know what she’s supposed to know to adequately do her job.

All the things she told me that were NOT matching, were completely opposite of the second person i spoke to just an hour ago.

My name is correct
the business name its going to is correct
the shipping weight is correct
the senders name is correct
the recipient name is correct
and i nor my wife need to sign for it

All these things were confirmed when i made the second call

during the first call, none of these were true (according to the rep)

When i called to tell me wife when its arriving, she belted out “YOUR STUFF IS HERE! YEAY!!!”

ok… situation averted… tonight we plug and play (not with my wife however)

i guess ill have to find some way to make up for it this weekend. Maybe a lot of Valium or sleep aids… she can do all the work.

Can you not go to the Fedex warehouse? I know you can do it with UPS if you miss a package delivery, etc

goto the UPS location and pick up your package?
WOW man it must be really less strict where you are.
There is NO public allowed at a UPS center here.
You miss you package, you setup a new delivery date and time

As for going to FedEx to do the same, it would be easier to win tonights lottery
FedEx has more stricter rules. Same deal. no one can go pick it up… ever.

Changed the title since it never was a problem with the store and to reflect the current status.

Here (in Santa Fe NM) you are only allowed to pick it up from the center after a
failed delivery attempt. Not at the sorting center or whatever, but one of there
stores or offices or something.
not sure exactly how it works, i always just get stuff sent to my job
When I built my desktop a friend ordered the parts and we had to wait longer than we should
(Box in Albuquerque / going to Albuquerque for 2 days with no delivery attempt)
called the UPS office and they told us we had to wait until after a failed delivery
attempt to pick it up.

Unfortunately, I dont make it out to Santa Fe often. I usually attend the Red Fish Entertainment stuff here and theres a weekly tech house/deep house night downtown at Effex called Body Language that I usually attend every Weds. Im actually a DnB guy, but its hard as hell to get anyone into in around here. Seems a lot of the folk around here are afraid of anything over 160 BPM :stuck_out_tongue:.
