I listened to your remix (bootleg) a few days ago. I even played it for my girlfriend! We both HATE the original Fergie song, a lot. Here’s my feedback.

  • I think you improved on the original by making it a simplistic-yet-progressive Dutch house track. I also think you treat the vocal with the type of humor that such a piece of poo vocal requires. I especially liked how you used “flossy flossy” on the drops, I actually chuckled..

  • I listened on my laptop both times so I can’t comment on the low end, but the overall mix sounded pretty good. I think the vocal may have been ever so slightly too loud?

  • Maybe it was 30-45 seconds too long? Maybe you could edit out the part where she rhymes the word “things” with itself three times? But seriously, I do have a subconscious sense that it was a little “too long” for me.

  • What software are you using for this, out of curiousity?
