Ferry is using an Otus setup?!?..I would have never thought that guy would come over to the digidark side…in one of his interviews he clearly stated “Digital DJ’s are idiots”…Tho I think that comment was primarily targeted towards Ableton Dj’s…but still digital is digital ey =D
btw what ever happened to the EKS Otus Raw? I think that would be a pretty kick ass piece of gear…are they going to release it or is that plan scratched??
Well, he should have thought about it when he started DJ-ing on CDJs, while stating digital djs are idiots.
(Must have been about the guys who gave digital DJing a bad rep.)
Raw will be released if I am correct, with a double crossfader to sport.
I’m a big fan of Ferry, he put on a great set earlier this year which was possibly set of the day for me at summafieldayze.
His new album “Twice in a blue moon” is amazing. I’ve liked his work since the madagascar remix he did back in the day.
Saw him play in Atlanta earlier this year, such a nice guy and really like his music.
No Otus setup for Ferry @ Spin. He just used the house setup of a pioneer 800 mixer and 4 CDJ’s. I was hoping for the Otus’s, but it was a hell of a night. He rocked the place.
Nah, I found out, that he still has some mapping issues.
