finalscratch open?

ok… So i got a stanton t80 turntable today for a good boxing day price :slight_smile:
So i have the vci-100 and a creative x-fi platinum internal soundcard which has midi inputs, spdif inputs, optical inputs, and 5.1 output channels.

I was looking at the audio 8 dj to connect my turntable to my pc and use traktor pro…but its about AU$1000 and I dont want to spend that much. So then I took a look at the finalscratch open…looks better for the money i want to spend :slight_smile:

Can anyone tell me if it is worth spending the money on finalscracth open?? I want to scratch…thats the main thing I’ll use it for…and use my vci-100 as a mixer.

depends on how much you can get it for. I wouldn’t pay full price for FS open for sure, there is no more development for it, so no new drivers or support.

I dont think it works with Traktor Pro either

should work with pro but not with pro scratch right?

I think it works with Traktor 3.2 and below - pretty sure it wont work with traktor pro scratch

It definitely won’t work with Pro-Scratch. You need the Audio8DJ for Traktor time code.

The A4DJ works with the timecode as well, doesn’t it?

A4 works but you need to already own Scratch Pro, thru cert. mixer or TS/TSP package.
