financial aid bloooows!

financial aid bloooows!

so i just have 8 credits left this semester to get my bachelors degree and i got to a private school which is really expensive and such. so this semester i would have to only have 500$ because of scholarships and stuff and i just found out today that since im not a full time student (12 credits) i dont get my scholarships so now i owe 4100$…happy thursday to me :disappointed:

Shit one dude but be positive and things will work out. Just think once you got your degree and earning top dollar owing $4000 will seem like laugh when you think back

haha thanks man! having the degree is going to be a good thing thats for sure!!

im sure it will work out

What school do you go to?

what school you go to man? I go to UWM, but im taking some credits at MATC, maybe it wouldn’t be hard for you to do the same?

I wish I owed $4100…Let’s just say my student loans for my 4 year degree are well into 6 figures. :sunglasses:

I go to Concordia University Wisconsin. Gary i went to waukesha county tech for my associates degree and i got 86 credits to transfer to CUW, so all i needed for my bachelors was 40 credits…the only problem was its a pretty expensive school but it works out in the end since they accepted a hell of alot more credits than anywhere else!

4100$ is only for this fall semester lol but i feel you man! 6 figures is ridiculous!!! hopefully you will have a job making some bank lol

I live pretty comfortably and absolutely love my job and my fiancé, so there’s very little more that I could really ever ask for! :sunglasses:

thats awesome man! congrats dude  not even the student loan payments can bring you down

Gotta stay positive, always!

Are you going to school for something awesome?

amen man!

depends on if you think law enforcement is awesome…lol

Are you able to register for 2 more classes to get to 12 credits? Try to enroll in to classes to put towards a masters maybe. I was in a similar situation and got around it by adding a few easy computer classes to get me to full time status.

haha i know

me and the financial aid guy did the math and im actually saving money not going full time haha and plus if i did that i have a 55 minute drive to the campus and i only go to class on monday and tuesday night! so its a great schedule i just never intended on having to drop $4100 this soon :disappointed:

Whuuuut!! And I thought I had it bad with my £3,000 a year fees

american college tuition = really f***ing expensive

for sure dude! its ridiculous
