First completed remix with Ableton

This is my first completed remix. There’s about ten more I’m fiddling with on my hard drive. Still getting used to Ableton as it’s my first DAW but hopefully this doesn’t sound tooo bad.

I created this because it felt like the builds of the original were the best part of the song and when it lost momentum in the drop, I lost interest.I’ve only had a few friends listen to it and the obvious response was, it’s too chimey. In retrospect, it needs a richer sound in the mid-range and the chimeyness (is that a word?) toned down a bit.

Ouch, use some bloody EQ!

Besides from that it might be good, EQ the high ends and stuff til it works better :smiley:

So glad you posted first. The drop made me almost pee myself and I had my volume down half way.. haha
