LOL I agree, I remember a few years back I was playing a house party and a mate of mine who was hammered put his pint down on my spinning turntable platter.
the pint went round once or twice and then spilt all over mixer, as you can imagine I was not a happy chap.

What type of crowd are you performing for? Like teenagers? or young adults? adults? Try starting with something that gets the crowd, whichever type it may be, pumped up!

Its a typical college house party. My set is gonna be pretty long since its at the start of the party so I don’t want to start off crazy

My first gig is DONE. It went pretty well everyone was saying I was really good. 4 hour and 45 minute set. Holy shit, I was scrapping together music near the end. I got a rager going on for a while, but I ran out of the music that the people were vibin too. Then it kinda cleared out with people coming back and forth to dance.
I had some bitch come up to me and was like play new music, NOW. I was like do you see the dance party going on. She would NOT go away, so I played Party Rock Anthem to get her the hell out of my face.
Besides that, I was actually doing good working with hip hop I was shocked.
Best feeling in the world when people are essentially pumped up, cheering you on, and going crazy without a care in the world. The people’s house I was at were surprised it was first time ever playing in front of people.
