First Quick 30 Second Mix Transition (Avicii - Skrillex)
Hey, I want opinions and criticism on my first small transition mix I did from Avicii Levels to Skrillex… It starts at 30 seconds, and I am not using headphones…
As your first post you upload a 44 second mix with not even two full tracks and ask for peoples opinion?
Transition wasnt all that great either
make a longer mix where you actually play the songs for longer than 30 seconds and get yourself headphones because..well djs kinda use headphones so you can beatmatch and make sure the songs sound ok together (if youre using sync then its just to make sure the songs sound ok together)
Yea, I know, I just wanted opinions on this. Wanted to make something small before I get my headphones tomorrow. How do i transition clean from one song to another, without the use of headphones?
you know your music inside and out like the palm of your hand. With headphones you can use the EQs to tweak the song to get it to sound better together. And regardless of whether you have headphones or not you should still know your music inside and out. When you get your headphones post a longer mix

Ing wrong with mixing more mainstream songs, just bc everybody knows about it doesn’t mean its bad
Personally I like to mix more mainstream stuff like avicii, afrojack, etc but I have a good amount of less well known arists in my library
