Follow/follow back thread!

Hey all,

I realize it’s really tough to get followers on Soundcloud and Facebook, which sucks because a strong social media presence can really bolster your chances of getting a gig. So here’s what I propose: A thread where people can post links to their Soundcloud/Facebook/other pages, and in return for members liking/following them, the original poster will do the same.

Let’s try it.

If you like or follow me, please send me a private message on here or post in this thread saying “DJTT” along with your info and I’ll hit you right back.

I know this might seem disingenuous to some, but we are all part of the DJTT community, so why not help each other out? I feel better getting a follow from fellow DJs than I do friends who have no interest in what I do anyway.

Concept seems different? This is more a social media presence building thread than a “check out my stuff” thread.

nope. the idea is exactly the same.

I’d mistrust promoters booking people based on their social media presence. Wrong priorities, imho.

In that case, feel free to delete or merge. Sorry about that.

Promoters aren’t the only people who book DJs. I don’t care much about LinkedIn, but just about everyone looks at it when considering someone for a job (recruiters, or otherwise).
