for you true old schoolers...

for you true old schoolers…

this fell off my record box…thought i’d scan it for the old schoolers…the death of great record label…

Love Hooj,

They put out some really great tracks.

Hooj appreciation incoming

is there any music this wonderful being put out these days…

i think i lost my mind to “invisible” many times…all 20 of the mixes

a straight bomb…

It’s been a while, god I wish trance was still that good…

i just loaded Global Underground Sydney CD2 Digweed…havent heard it in years…what a stomper…

Here’s one that is great (and it’s one of my records I didn’t sell

Brilliant set of tunes there.

God I haven’t listened to a GU in years, that digweed one is great, but my favorites are Sasha San Fran, Nick Warren Istanbul and Rejakvik (Sp I know)

I always loved this little gem released on Hooj

i have the original siesta pressing of that…i played the SHIT out of it…

No rush to get to the drop in these tunes either, bloody brilliant.

LSG - Netherworld

What happened to the break oriented trance?

I think the problem with modern electronic tunes is kinda a byproduct of how you can mix with loops now so they don’t really let the track “develop” I could be wrong who knows

Sasha San Fran maybe the greatest CD ever…i was at the party for the Digweed Los Angeles original party…ten bucks on a monday/tuesday night…he played for five and half hours…

The nick warren budapest holds a special place for me also…

the lawler nubreed GU CDs are still a lesson in tribal house and how to play it…smokers…both CDs…

LSG used to get down…

now people are so intent on labeling music and styles is that you dont get to hear DJ playing across a broad spectrum of EDM…Digweed still does it…Don Diablo and guys like that do too…

now DJs are afraid to leave the safe list and push things forward with what they like…

Siesta, another great label that’s no longer with us. So was Future a reissue on Hooj or just the European release?

Just made an offer for this on eBay!

You’ve made me long for the old days keith
