Forum for Promoters?

I feel it would be logical to launch a new sub-forum for all things promotion. We have individuals on DJTT who range from bedroom DJs that want to learn how to best promote themselves all the way to successful promoters who are booking shows on a regular basis and know the industry quite well.

I’d love for a new sub-forum to share ideas on how to better promote our events and so on. For example, right now I’m working on some ideas for a new residency but some outside input would certainly help as well.

How does everyone else feel?

Mods, any thoughts?

I know the logic of the forum is to keep away from too many forums. As more come in the place can eventually start looking like the chaos of isratrance or even my beloved tweakheadz.com

There are a bunch of promotions threads here, especially about new DJs getting their name out there, and a simple search will hopefully yield some good results. I don’t think there’s going to be much of a need for something like this.
