Found what i want, help for next step !

Heya everyone ! :slight_smile:

Just about to get a brand new 3 deck setup and already owned a MF Spectra and Ableton Live. I wanted to use the fourth mixer channel as a live performing channel, using the MF running on Ableton Live ! Hereā€™s a perfect example of what i want to do :

Now next step is.. i donā€™t know :open_mouth: ! Iā€™m a newbie on Ableton and donā€™t know where to start, how to learn and so onā€¦
Maybe some of you are already doing this.. :drooling_face:

Are you JUST using Ableton to DJ with?

for the moment yes! I donā€™t want to go into producing full tracks, iā€™m more interested in live remixing and sampling !

Do you have a multi output soundcard? What mixer are you using?

What do you mean by ā€œ3 deck set-upā€?

Donā€™t have any sound card, but why not, i guess i wonā€™t be useless anyway !

Iā€™m about to get a brand new DJM 900 Nexus and 3 CDJs, ordered them already :slight_smile:

If youā€™re thinking of using strictly ableton, then why the CDJā€™s might I ask?!

well i wouldnā€™t like to do finger drumming all long ! I want it as a plus, something to add to my sets !
