It’s just something stupid you do once or twice to show off for girls in the DJ booth.
Why have you got gaffer tape in the dj booth? 
What’s next? TTs mounted vertically on CDJ stands with elastic bands round the tonearm and the arm rest to hold em down? 
We did it with shot glasses.
I have gaffa tape in my gig bag at all times.
