FUNLIFE - Work All Night (Original Mix) [Techno] feedback on mix appreciated

Hi guys

Have been working on this tune lately - techno track with an acid kind of bass.

Would appreciate any feedback on quality of the production (or the composition itself), have been trying to achieve a more polished sound.

I thought the 303 line and that synth part that comes in around 2:00 was a touch loud compared to the drums, especially the kick. Could use a few fills here and there to keep it from sounding so loopy too, but thats more personal opinion I guess.

Thanks Tarekith, always valuable to know how things sound in a different environment. I did actually reduce the kick once the synth comes in because I thought it was too bottom heavy, will bring it up a touch and the synth down.

Fills are something I might look at, was thinking though I might keep it reasonably stripped down

I don’t think you need to do anything crazy for fills, just a few things now and then to give it a bit more variation, break up the main sections a tiny bit.

Yep, I’m thinking a few extra / off beat claps or toms and maybe drop the 4th kick on the end of phrases to break up those sections
