FvB’s set-up

After being a long time lurker and reader of the forum & main blog, its time to start posting myself. Thought it would be best to start by posting my own current set-up.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of previous set’s I’ve owned, but had the pleasure of going through a couple of sets (vinyl, crappy Numark turntables + dito mixer, Urei 1603 & super oem decks, etc).

After a hiatus of a couple of years, I’ve finally got back into the game of mixing. Kicked things off early last year with a Kontrol S4, followed by a Xone DX, but always found it lacked the feeling I used to have when spinning vinyl. Therefore opted to go the DVS route, which is shown in the pictures below.

Current set-up:
2 x Denon DN-S3700
1 x Pioneer DJM-T1
Macbook Pro (17")
Crane Pro stand
2 x M-Audio CX5 monitor speakers

@DarioJ; really like the versatility of the S3700, they work great with timecode cds, but can plug in a usb stick with some tracks just as easy. Also like that they have some on board effects and the vinyl feel they emulate.

The S3700’s look pretty, and how do you like the DJM-T1?

Also, nice lighting you’ve got there.

Interesting, I haven’t seen a djm-t1 in the wild before. Do you like it?
