gear set up! newb
HEY DJTT FORUM glad to join your ranks.Im basically new to the whole dj thing…but i been saving and building my setup and ..im running into a small gear issue…traktor le + audio 2 dj+ vci-100= ok however tractor le lacks effects..sooo i remembered my gf bought me a kp3 …she thought it was sampler(a very basic one) so i thought well its an effects pad ,sick but idk how or if its possible to wire it up? whats the word? how could i use it?
yes u can use it as an fx section, but u only can use it for the master out. this means u go out of ur audio 2 into the line in of ur kp3 and from ur kp3 out to the mixer/amp/speakers.
will the sound quality suffer?
i haven´t tried it yet, but i think for home use it should be more than enough.
sound quality will be fine, KP3 has got a pretty decent audio handling. well the one i played with did
OK, thanks for the advice…im gonna try and set it up…do i run it line out or line in? and in direct or send mode? idk i dont mean to be d bag lol i guess ill try and figure it out and if i fail ill just hit this thread back up
audio2 [master out] > kp3 [line in] > kp3 [line out] > amp [line in]
