having trouble getting the packs to work properly? use this thread to ask for technical help.
What effect would using a 3D have on the pack’s functionality? Most of the midi assignments on each pack don’t seem to function right (if at all), could not using a Pro have somethign to do with this?
if you’re using the 3d, then all of the notes will work to trigger samples but the midi assignments won’t transfer over. This is because the pro and 3d have different cc’s/channels and most of the assignments are more “set and forget” or adjustment (better for the pro or a typical knob/fader) based and not the type of “sweep” that the mf3d does. Also, we are working out the best solution for having the momentary stuff transfer between all controllers but right now the cc’s for the buttons send on different channels from the pro to the 3d and since I make them on a pro you have to just remap to the 3d. sorry if that’s not super helpful

im a Ableton Noob ( i just got it for your Sound Packs) and i have no clue on how to change that..

it all depends on which pack you’re talking about, not all of them have the knobs and faders pre-mapped. Sometimes I focus more on creating modifiers and getting everything to glue and don’t map them to do stuff.
Zach - With the Ableton template, I keep running into issues where a one shot (not always the same one) gets stuck in a loop or something and I end up having to manually click the stop button in Ableton. Any idea why this is happening?
Well..for example the Macro’s scratch, and there are a couple more that do have the fader or knob make a different sound or what ever, just how do i map that to the Midi Fighter Pro BM?

do you have it in Ableton mode?
I assume so, because everything else seems to work fine (with other sounds/sound packs). I’ll double-check my settings though. I’ll also double-check the exact sounds that seem to flip out.
There was an issue where one of the button cc’s happens to be midi for “hold” (old school midi protocol thing) but we solved this problem in recent firmware updates by putting those cc’s on a separate channel. Make sure that on the drumrack, you select the receive channel that the button notes are sending on. This should solve your problem.
Has this firmware update been pushed out to the utility because I updated it? Either way, I’ll look into the issue you mentioned. Thanks!

I have tried everything, and my mf3d still bugs out constantly. it just stops allowing me to play anything and the mf3d either goes black, or the colors stay and show animations. I don’t know what else to try
what software are you using? what computer?
