Getting a VCI 100 Need some advice

I am thinking that I am going to finance a VCI 100 from guitar center, any thoughts? they have price matching so I am trying to find the cheapest VCI-100 price that I can get. Are there any other factors I need to be aware of such as firmware, model number, or anything before buying? Does anyone hav e any experience (good or bad?) with buying from guitar center? particularly with financing.

You’ll get a credit card with a limit. It’s fine, works like any other credit card.

Make sure it’s firmware v1.2

how can I check the firmware?

On the back of the unit, next to the serial number there should be a little green sticker.

If they’ll let you plug it in, press both the Vinyl Mode buttons. If the LEDs under the jog wheels turn off it’s firmware v1.2
