Glitchy/distorted sound in parts of tracks

Hi,
I’ve got a DDJ-RX, using Rekordbox DJ on a Windows 10 PC. PC is Intel i7, 8gb RAM, 240gb SSD with power saving settings turned off.
I’m getting an issue where intermittently tracks get a bit glitchy and distorted. If I play the track in say Windows Media Player the track plays fine and actually sounds better.
I’ve messed about with the buffer size, but still no joy.
Anyone got any ideas?

Might want to give your OS an optimization to ensure everything is spot on. Guide is made by NI but works with any music mixing and production software.
