Yes, that bright green one is genuinely bad-ass. Although i’d be tempted to just hold it up and wave it about like some mad man, pointing at it, and dancing, then looking at the crowd wide-eyed whilst gestating wildly.

I agree these are totally sweet, id love a completely blank one - especially if it was as high a quality as the current overlays.
Not that I’m really using my VCI-100 anymore, but I think this would be rad.
And who cares if they are “so 1995”. Music in 1995 was better ![]()
even some g-i-t-d sticker would be cool to cut stencils outta
Well, I voted “Are the next best thing”, but, I think it would be best to have the background color black and the text on the overlay in glow- in- the- dark paint.
i agree. glow + blank = awesome!
Blank gitd overlays would be bad ass.
Btw you should make a option to vote both ;]
They are so 1995 & the next big thing. Ahh yeah.
I would say Black overlays with UV/glow in the dark paint for all the text on the controller. The thing would look like Darth Star!
Concur!
wait… darth star? i always thought it was death star! wouldnt surprise me if i was wrong as i thought a light saber was a light saver until i was like 12 lol

Concur!
All glow in the dark would be a cool option with black ink on the font. I could see alot of indie/electro dj’s pick it up.
It would follow what Steve Aoki did with the headphones he released.
+1
A&H have the UV responsive writing figured out. I hear it’s the real reason their mixers are so expensive.
+1 for just the lettering being glow in the dark!
+1 for only lettering
Damn if that does go thru Im going to have to buy another vci…
these look awesome id most def buy them
MMM not really sure if I liked it. All the glow in the dark materials look bad when not glowing… they have like this dusty material on top. If it was for apperiance I would go for the black overlay with glow in the dark labels. But then … everyone have the vci mapped diferent so the lables would not match. The A&H has the UV relfecting painting which looks really cool and it does not look bad with lights on. But again its only the labeling and I think that the marks on the knobs.
I think this would be good for apperaince but not much functionality… if you need to read your labels when playing live its because you have not practice with your mapping much.
A better idea is knobs with glow in the dark paiting, that is much more functional…
I think with the advent of more users making there own controller mappings, a blank black overlay with gitd hash marks for knob and fader positions would be cool. Unfortunately, I’m not really feeling the silver blank one offered in the DJTT store…
Looks nice, another vote here for a blank glower. It’s much easier to add your own labels than to hide labels that are already there as most, if not all people will be using at least some custom mapping which will differ from the default.
cool- thanks for the feedback guys. So basically- we should consider making some glow in the dark blanks and black ones with glow in the dark writing.
nice!
The blank silver overlays are not really selling- any other suggestions for making a better blank one?
