Got a 1200mk2-s and audio 4 timecode - Whats next?
I’ve got a pair of 1200mk2-s and Audio 4 timecode.
What should i do next. I dont want to use my mouse at party (especialy when im working with computer, and my eyes are tired) and
didn’t really want to buy a some Hercules rmx.
But i wanna still have loops and que points.
Maybe Kontrol X1 and some not-to-expensive 2 channel bullet-proof mixer.
It’s my first set of gear.
What do you think?
But, What about Faderfox? It would be cool to use the traktor inbuilt mixer.
And i have a problem with it too, its too small and has too many buttons and knobs.
I would like something like Faderfox with bigger and only the knobs and faders that are appearing on a simple scratch/battle mixxer. Something like that:
Dudes, u dont get the point.
I would like to use the mixer in the traktor, so i dont have a real mixer with audio interface, only midi controller + X1 + Dicers
Why so keen on traktors internal mixer?
It works the same way as an external mixer afterall.
If you invested in a controller, e.g. VCI-100 then you wouldnt need a kontrol X1. But the dicers might come in handy for cue points . . . . or a midi fighter
As far as a bullet proof mixer is concerned, most controllers out there wont reach these standards, aside from the VCI 100 or allen and heath gear.
Personally, im in your situation. But I already have a reloop controller as my mixer. Its good but I want a proper external “bullet proof” mixer. An ecler nuo 2/3, then im gonna use my X1, midi fighter and TT’s to control 3 decks.
True, True .. when it comes to Behringer i’d alomost rather go second hand, like most of the ‘cheapy’ brands if it hasn’t broken already with use it most likely will last …if its gonna break at all it’ll be in the first month or so.
Can’t ditch the fact its HULLALOT of controller / mixer for the money though an yet to hear anything but praise by anyone who’s used one (not that horror stories don’t exist).
Wuhuu, allready got bored of this mixer thing and decided to make it myself.
3 faders, 5X5 arcade buttons, 8 knobs.
Allready bought the arcade buttons.
Now looking for a decent midi interface, faders and knobs.
Could Go with a gamepad ? .. i’m sure someone mentioned one could handle something in the region of 16 faders (or more).. pick one up for under $5 and see what happens
An old Korg Nanokontrol would make a decent lil ‘brain’ for it too
Thinking about the Hale UMC32, because im absolutely t00 n00b to solder MidiBox64 together on my one. Any alternatives which have more than 32 inputs?
Also looking for a crossfader under 50$ and some knobs.
