Got my first remix job at the studio I work for

For being a crappy pop song it’s quite decent. Original at 100BPM and E#. Free BPM (will push it to the 130’s), only requisite is to keep it vocal and friendly. I’ll be getting the vocals after they are re-recorded some time next week so I’ll just work with the instrumentals till then.

Reassigning me fulltime to the production area or keep my actual position (not happening) depends on this so i’ll be expecting constructive feedback and keep you guys posted the the evolution of it :slight_smile:

Early draft, but the bosses seem to like it so far :slight_smile:

Vocals are still unprocessed mostly and the levels are fucked up, you guys can comment on the rest :slight_smile:

Lol, agree with the fills, but that is the last step before mixdown in my workflow.

It’s targeted to the fitness market the breakbeats ar a big nono :confused:

32bar blocks and a huge amount of cheese are the client requirements :stuck_out_tongue:

PS: It would be intresting to watch a step class with some break on the speakers

I’ll give the piano a shot, I was planning to reuse the synth that pops at 30segs and a few other synth lines I’ve been testing, but not getting the results I want yet.

The girl singing in my version is not Selena btw :slight_smile:

definitely on the right track with this one man. Loving how you took this and made it a million times better first of all. I’m very new to producing so I couldnt give you any pointers but I will say you are definitely headed in the right direction. I can see it already all eqed and mastered sounding fucking legit. Big ups!
