Hacking the device name of one of two MFTs

Hacking the device name of one of two MFTs(SOLVED)

==EDIT==
Ok gents, strike that.

I got it fixed, and it was just a programming error on my part. It seems Reaper can address two Twister units just fine.

============================

Is a firmware image available that one can use to hack the device name of the unit ?

Is that even possible ?

Why ?

I have two Midi Fighter Twisters, and am operating on Windows 7 x64. I need to send MIDI feedback to each unit individually. When I send data to either unit, only the first receives it.

I suspect that because each units device name is identical, only the first unit ever gets data, but I do not know for sure.

Is there a solution to this problem ? I wouldn’t mind hacking the firmware. Has it been open-sourced yet ?

Or perhaps it needs to be changed in the hardware and I’ll need to contend without midi feedback, and buy another Behringer X-Touch Mini !!!
