I met Midi in 1991, and was amazed at what my Kawai K4 and an Atari computer (think Commodore 64 with a midi connection built in) running Cubase could do using midi.
These days, I’m impressed at what can be done with midi and Traktor.
So…

There was a really good write up on midi’s 30th on The Register.
this reminds me of the good old days when traktor 3 suddenly began switching layouts randomly. i loved this bug so much. especially when spinning music in the club
