Looks like a basterd kid of a pingpong ball and a MIDIfighter if you ask me. 
This appears to be a shortcut keyboard, meaning it won’t work with traktor. (Traktor wont recognize : + D)
I think you could use it with some kind of translator, the same way you could use videogame controllers. I wonder what these will cost…
Yeah you could use it with glovepie or something similar. Might be kind of neat to use the emoticons to describe the FX they’re assigned to. Happy face gets a colorful effect; sad face gets a destructive effect.
I think it was posted as more of a funny, rather than a piece for analysis…
