Having trouble with Modifiers

I have a button on my midi controller that toggles FX Unit 1 on and off.

I want my HIGH tone knob to become the FX UNIT 1 Parameter 3 control when the FX UNIT 1 is ON.

I am reading the tutorials but it doesn’t toggle back to HIGH tone knob.

Do I delete the FX UNIT 1 and begin with add in a modifier?

also. It wont let me set the modifier to toggle? I need it to stay on?

ok. it’s working now when I hold it down (HOLD) so I am reading something here about rigging it to toggle :slight_smile:

somehow I did it. It was acting weird.. then without any changes everything is perfect ??? Computers !

I copied the settings to DECK B and all is good. Thanks anyway.

Set toggling modifier to effect on/off button, expl with modifier#1:

Add in Modifier 1
Modifier conditions / M1=0
Type of controller-button
Interaction mode-direct
Set to value-1

Add in Modifier 1
Modifier conditions / M1=1
Type of controller-button
Interaction mode-direct
Set to value-0

Hi adjust modCon M1=0
FX parameter modCon M1-1

yeah. looks right. pretty sure that did it. I think the issue was that the EFFECT ON/OFF button (same button as modifier 1) was set to toggle. I switched it to direct and it’s good.

So I have an IN Modifier 1 (D#) [ON} an IN Modifier 1 (D#) [OFF] and an IN Effect ON/OFF (D#) which was set to toggle. I switched the EFFECT ON/OFF to direct and it’s working properly.

So when EFFECT is ON the HIGH knob controls the EFFECT PARAMETER 3.

Somehow it’s working. The toggle thing is what was kicking my ass.
