HDJ-500 or Denon HP-700?

Hi Guys!

Long story short, I got money for xmas and I need a new decent pair of cans under a hundred. Which of the two would you personally pick as the better headphone?
All advice appreciated!

Tried both recently and the Denons seemed a bit better to me, the build quality was definitely better, the sound was a little bit more suited to my taste than the Pio. Best if you could try them yourself (if possible).. Good luck :slight_smile:

I own the hdj-500’s and while I like them, the screws that hold the headband part started to seperate from itself after a few months. I used some pvc glue to hold it together and havent had any other problems with them, I just cant adjust one of the sides anymore. Not really much of a problem as it fits my head perfectly, just something to think about.
