Headphones 4cheap (Netherlands)

Hi,

I am panicing!

I am on a creative roll, but my headphones fail. My mixes come out dull. My “grinding grooves” sound bleak. Portishead sounds like pitched down ACDC through my headphones.

I am comletely broke. Does anybody have a spare set of decent cans I can buy? I don’t want to spend 50 euro’s on a really substandard piece of kit that I’d discard with my next paycheck!

I have not much to offer for trade (I am good with electronics. I can fix things). If the kit is really nice I may be able to scrape 100 euro’s. But I prefer to spend a lot less. I’m selling some of my vintage CD players to get more cash.

Why not try the AKG K81DJ for 10 cents short of €40,- ?
They’re better than you’d might imagine.

Or the Sony MDR V55 DJ for €75,-

The Pioneer HDJ500 for €85,- or the Allen & Heath X:ONE XD-40 for €88,-

All spanking new and all well under the €100,- mark and I got really got experience with that web shop as well. I will even go so far as to say I will vouch for them any day of the week, any moment of the day.

AKG: I’m an industrial designer by trade. They are too ugly to even consider. My gear is in the living room. I’d hate to have to see them every day.

Sony; somehow I missed that one. They look the bomb and look like the earshells will be very nice. I think 'm falling for it.

Pioneer & xone: I really want over-ear ones. I WANT the xone 53 if I have the money.
