Hello (Andrew Spence Remix) - Martin Solveig ft Dragonette
So I went a little nuts for the beatport remix comp and made something that is completely different to my usual style and taste. First time I made something that comes close to something that is sort of dubstep but i tried not to kill the vibe from the original. I’m starting to get over it now and probably just need to give the ears a rest. Was just wondering what you thought of it and what you think could help improve it.
I’m also working on this. Well, not done much yet apart from tighten the stems timings and cut out the extra start and end silences etc.
Planning to spend this weekend locked in my home studio working on this. Kind of new to Ableton too, so decided to throw myself in the deep end and see what comes out!
Good Luck. I got over it yesterday and decided to just submit it. It’s hard to remix a track and listen to it so many times to then get it smashed in your face by all the radio stations in your local area. pretty much listened to it non stop for a week. drove me mental lol.
I love Martin Solveig and I guess these hoopers do, too… they did a flash mob to his song, ‘Hello’ (with Dragonette). Super upbeat - a great energizing break in the middle of your day -
