Help with CDJ 1000 Mk3 Jog Mode Button issue

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help?

I have recently purchased a CDJ 1000 Mk3 from ebay. The seller has good feedback, and described the deck as in perfect working condition and recently serviced.

All seems fine with the deck, apart from an issue with the Jog Mode button. It doesnt always instantly switch modes (i.e. it needs a hard press a few times), and also now it changes the pitch mode too.

Ive recorded a video that shows the problem.

The seller has stated that it didnt have that issue before, and has asked me to update the FW to see if it solves the problem, but it is currently on v2.30 which i believe is the latest.

Any one got any help?

It doesn’t look so good. The problem with this button is, that it is on a circuit board with the display. So if you want to replace it, its getting expensive. You could try to replace the micro button or to clean it.

If you have luck there is “just” liquid (alcohol, coca cola…) on the circuit board.
