# Help with Midi fighter and ableton

**Help with Midi fighter and ableton**

So for fun i wanted to try out the drum rack from the midi fighter 3d contest but i cant seem to get my midi fighter to trigger any clips or map it to anything.

How can i trigger samples in ableton with the midi fighter?

first things first you have to update its firmware and switch it to ableton mode.  
after that the effect select buttons toggle between different drum racks.  
the buttons trigger individual samples. its pretty straightforward actually…

Thanks mate i had to redo the firmware update it didn’t send to midi fighter last time. 😃
