Help with mixing House And Hip Hop!
Ok so I’m mainly only good with mixing progressive house, electro house, dubstep, and some mainstream. I need help on how to mix or transition hip hop or rap into house (vise versa). I find it always sounding like crap and all i need is help on the transitions. Whats the best way to do so?

there’s also plenty of “transition” tracks you can download from remix sites.
im running traktor pro 2 on the s2 and i cant find any effect that is called “freeze”
Its the delay in the single form so you can adjust the filter, feedback and rate.
You want the filter on nothing and then press freeze.

I still dont know where to find the freeze effect… Do i just pause the song?
A lot of new style hip hop is basically trap which is around 70BPM, which you can beatmatch, build up w some sort of filter sweep, and pitch ride till it’s at original tempo. Thats if you wanna blend in ur first track. Works great going from 128/130 down to (or up to..however u wanna look at it) 70 BPM. To go from like 70 BPM into 128 you can try the same thing, but you need to blend in a part of a song that either has no beat or isn’t 4/4. I mean, I guess you dn’t need to, but I found that trying to do that w/ a 4/4 beat usually doesnt sound right.
this only works when you have one fx in advanced mode. as you can see in the pic fx bank 1 is in chained mode and fx bank 3 is in advanced mode.
