Help with my new set up

Hi,

I have just been brought a Numark m101 USB mixer as a gift but need some help with how to set up in my bedroom. I used to have Technics and therefore have a large amount of vinyls but would prefer to set up via my laptop this time as i dont have much room to work with.
Which is the best and easiest way to do this???
I would appreciate any help you can offer.

a NI audio 2 with an x1 will do the job if you’re going to play just from a software (2 x 1/4 inch to rca cables into the line inputs from the audio 2). If you want dvs control you should buy an audio 4 (with traktor) or a rane sl2 (with serato)

You dont need a soundcard if you are just going to play from the software, you can route two channels of audio to your mixer over USB.

As the poster above says, youll need at least an audio4 if you want to use Traktor DVS.
