Help with sound drop/pop - Numark Omni & Traktor LE

I got the Numark Omni Control today and am using it with Traktor LE. When I play a track the sound cuts out here & there for a split second and sometimes I hear a tiny pop. Even as I type this, no music playing but Traktor is open and the Omni Control is on, I hear the tiny pop about every minute. WHY?! I’m going to dj a party next week but I can’t use this thing if the sound drops out and pops every 60 seconds. I think it’s a Numark problem, not Traktor. I need help with this!!!

try setting the latency setting to 10ms to see if you get drop outs.

btw i moved this over to gen dis and you can also do a search for audio drops outs on the site.

If your getting pops when Traktor is open but not playing its very likely your WiFi/Bluetooth/Internet . Turn it all off and see if the Pops go.

Dropouts could be something more serious.

I messed around with audio settings and nothing worked but disconnecting my internet helped so thanks to you both for the quick advice.
