I want to be able to do this

Apparently you need an audio interface. I have a focusrite scarlett 8i6 which I use for my synths, would that work? If yes, how do I set up everything?

I’ve been trying out traktor for a few months now, but have not set up split cueing yet. I was wondering if I could use my scarlett focusrite 8i6 for that or if I need one of those traktor audio’s?

Ok, before help, you have traktor, you have the soundcard, hook em together and see if it works, and let us know. Or check google, because it looks like a soundcard that works to me. Let us know what happens when you hook em together.

and if you have traktor for some months now, you should already be able to hook it up to your sound card. it´s no sorcery.

Have you tried to run Traktor with it yet? Most people here use those Traktor audios, so you will have to try it out, and let us know so we can help you out.

I will. In the meantime, are there any like really really cheap dj-controllers out there? (Right now I’m using a 2 octave midi-controller, with the modulation wheel as a crossfader. While this actually works pretty well, I unintentionally nazi salute when I do quick transitions)
