Hooking Up The S4 To Multiple Speakers?

Let’s say I want to connect my S4 to some monitors & some PA speakers at the same time. What do I need to do? Also to connect only to the PAs and leave the monitors out, do I go directly from the S4 to the PAs and with what cables, XLR, TRS or RCA? Excuse my lack of knowledge, I’ve only played on my monitors and I want to know before I make the jump to PAs.

The S4 has two sets of Main outputs.

1- TRS / 1/4" outputs
2- RCA outputs

You can connect your monitors to one of the two and connect your PA’s to the other.
