how can i sync 2 pc’s

im trying to sync a pc running tractor with s4 and another running ableton, connected via a midi clock. either way round you do this there is a tempo fluctuation on the slave machine of around + or - 0.4 bpm. there must be a way of correcting this as surely thats how they work… whatever i try they eventually loose the plot.

Please help

If you’re using OSX you can route a midi clock over ethernet using the midi utility. Do a search and there’s plenty of instructions out there.

If you look about on the internet everyone has this problem, It may be something to do with Midi and the fact that its not perfect. What are you trying to do?
