How do I transfer new songs using external drive w/o finding them 1x1?

So I just bought a 2015 Macbook Pro to start using for gigs and I just transferred around 3 songs from my HP using an external drive. I want to keep both laptops updated with music as a backup so my question is how do I transfer newly downloaded songs back and forth without retransferring the entire music folder?

…sort by date created? Not really sure what the problem is

I know this should be very simple, but I’m just not seeing that option. I only see “Name/#/Title/Contributing Artists/Album” I’ve right’clicked and searched properties as well as other options. This is in my Music folder on my HP btw

right click on any of those file attributes (like artist, name, etc) and you’ll get a dropdown. Put a check next to DATE CREATED and DATE MODIFIED. That should get you in shape.
