How do you crate drum fills with midi pads?

Hi!

I always wondered how DJs make live synced drum fills over songs.

I’m thinking of buying the KorgKontrol pad, but i don’t exactly understand how I can crate those drum loops with it.

Is there a way I can sync the BPM from Serato/Traktor to an external midi pad and crate on the fly synced drum fills?

Yes… I’ve seen it..

I’m wondering if there’s an option to make the drum fills without using one of the 2 decks.

Maybe send out the bpm of the song to an external midi pad and make it play the beats according to the bpm and the rhythm.
