How do you overcome, or is there any lag for midi devies connected into a hub?
On a laptop, hub seems to be the only solution.
USB3 has enough bandwidth & speed, so there is no lack or latency when you connect more than one midi device to a hub. Normally also on USB2 hubs.
Use a powered hub, because most problems occur when you the controllers draw to much energy.
And only connect midi devices to hubs, don´t connect sound interfaces to hubs.
