How Many Songs Do You Have In iTunes?

As the title states!

My son’s friend spent the night the other day and when I woke up his friends iPod was hooked to the computer. I didn’t think much of it until later in the day when I realized our collection had jumped to 75,000 songs. I deleted more than half of what they drug over just because they were under 100K. Then I told him that he had to tag everything correctly if he was going to try and get 1000’s of songs at once or I was going to delete them. A few days later and almost all of them were gone. I asked him what was up and he said most of them sounded like crap and weren’t worth the effort. Lesson learned I think.

EDIT: I’m not implying your downloading songs illegally or anything sakebomb, just more of a reminiscing on how I should have taken a picture of the massive collection so I could have pwnd this contest. :smiley:

i dont use itunes, but my dj music folder has 1340 LEGAL tracks. still a few thousand on cds not yet ripped and 15k+ records from 98 to now

5.5-6k but around 500 tracks magically went missing when I switched to Mac.

Having such a large library I’ve only been able to recover about 30 or so.

They are all electronic music. If I were to actually include my hip-hop library we’d be looking at around 15k in songs.

around 7k, and a bunch of stuff that need to be categorized before getting imported.

about 20K, only electronic music and all of them are tagged and categorized :smiley:

  1. I unfortunately use WMP coupled with my home server to stream music to my PS3. I use Traktor + Mp3tag for djing purposes.

some of you dudes are coco loco. one of my mates is like that, 40,000 plus, been collecting since high school.
I’ve got like 2500 and listen to all of it. Usually I hammer an album/recently added then delete the tracks I don’t want. Can’t see the point

I think I might have to come up with a second and third place prizes. DJSAKEBOMB has completely knocked it out of the park with over 42K in songs in iTunes.
