Depends entirely how much of the big name DJ you want to buy. The internal organs tend to be quite cheap, because of all the abuse they’ve suffered over time - it’s tough making a nice liver & onions when the liver is cirrhotic.
OTOH, a nice piece of rump for roasting can set you back a pretty penny.
You should contact some of the agents to get a quote. The prices will vary depending on location, time of year and what not. Also if you can get him some other gigs on the area your overall price may go down a little.
prices all depend on who/day/date/time/location, previous work and contracted future dj’ing events.
depends.
you’d have to contact their management agency.
bout tree fitty.
Iv seen people gets DJ’s that are quite big up from anything from £500 up to £10k. It all depends who you want and what your budget is.
If im to give any honest opinion. If your from Glasgow Jon Mancini would have most likely be the person to ask since he has taken up the majority of big acts. And if i was you i would try book a DJ that is up and coming..
I have a friend who was doing some booking for our university end of year ball (a big thing in Cambridge) and a well known UK DJ/production trio wanted £30k…
I know Todd Terry & Morales were getting £10-11k roughly going back 11 years ago in a club I worked in ![]()
If you catch a Big-name while they are playing a gig within reasonable distance (within an hour or two flight or Car Ride) you can sometimes get a deal from the agent, they make more cash out of it for less time spent.
If you have no previous bookings or references it can be hard to get them regardless of the $, most of my mates had to start off with the B-list DJ’s for a while before hitting the big ones.
more than any of us can afford
Armin van Buuren costs about 60,000 'an hour
Doctor P played the club I play in about 2 years ago was known as Picto then and played drum and bass for £20 an hour and beers, he was a warm up and warm down dj, now he wants £5000 an for an hour set last time I heard
The manager of my band owns an agency called Fusionshows(.com)
They mostly book alternative bands in Michigan, but recently are looking to get into EDM. The most recent offers that I know of were…
Diplo - $25,000
Trentmoller - $20,000
These are in reference to clubs/venues that have around a 1200 person cap. Managers always ask a high price, which is generally bartered down by the booking agent. You’re best of studying the local scene and see who the hot acts are. They’ll play for much less and can get a solid draw in many cases if they don’t outplay themselves.
Small to Mid range headling Djs can cost from £350 to £1000 for fee,
also you will have to pay for Travel, Hotel, Restaurant, transfers from airport/hotel/venue and a rider.
Bear in mind the fee depends on size of venue and where and when,
if you book a Dj for mid week or a Sunday it should be cheaper,
then again all cases can be different.
I go for 25’000 euro a night
book me!
Depends on DJ and length of set (omg rlly rlly???)
We’ve paid Dixon 3000 euro’s for a 4 hour set
Henrik Schwarz 1700 euro’s for a 1 hour set
Olivier Weiter 750 euro’s for a 2 hour set
One tip is to be friendly to them and throw a very cool party, alot fo DJ’s that come to us give us discounts because they like the atmosphere and the people ![]()
I saw Numark at a small music festival (very small) and I heard that it cost them six grand.
